Following the recent changes to COVID-19 requirements, it is no longer essential to phone on arrival, provided you are free of COVID-19 like symptoms.
If you are free of COVID-19 symptoms, you are welcome to enter the premises and check in with reception staff, who will inform the clinician that you have arrived.
Although it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask, to assist with the wellbeing of our patients and staff, we encourage you to do so. Please put on your mask correctly (covering mouth and nose).
All patients and visitors displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, as listed below, must phone reception staff on arrival. We will be asking if you:
- are symptomatic with flu-like symptoms, including cough, fever, sore throat, or breathing difficulties (including hay fever),
- or have symptoms of diarrhoea, nausea, headaches, or loss of taste or smell,
- are associated with any person who has a confirmed COVID-19 infection,
- or have had a positive COVID-19 result in the previous 7 days.
If you are in any way symptomatic, we will request that you wait in your car for your doctor to attend you.
We appreciate your patience and will continue to provide the same warm and caring service that you are accustomed to. Please help us care for our local community by keeping us informed of any symptoms you might be experiencing.
